2011 def has me living in fear. too much death. the Tuscon killing. a cop a few towns away got killed execution style the other day. A friend of mine got killed in Afghanistan. Multiple Line of duty deaths in the fire department and ems. Its just getting ridiculous.

Today I learned that a friend of mine, a fellow firefighter with my company was killed yesterday in Afghanistan while serving our country in the army. Thank you for being a true American hero Ben. Please continue to watch over us from heaven. We’ll all miss you buddy.
